Data you submit yourself

When you use the contact form, we process what you enter:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Phone number (optional)
  • Company (optional)
  • What the enquiry is about
  • The content of your message

Purpose and legal basis

We use the data to answer your enquiry and to assess a possible collaboration. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries we receive, cf. GDPR article 6 (1) (f).

The form contains a hidden field used to filter out automated submissions. We do not use a captcha, and we do not use the data for newsletters or marketing.

How the message is sent and stored

The message is sent as an email through the provider Resend and stays in our mailbox. We keep enquiries as long as they are relevant to the conversation or to an ongoing client relationship, and delete them when they no longer serve a purpose.

Website analytics

We use PostHog to understand how the website is used. The data is processed on servers in the EU. We record events such as page views, clicks on links and buttons, which parts of the page are seen, contact form status, and technical error reports.

PostHog stores information in your browser to distinguish between visits. We do not use ad networks or tracking for marketing purposes.

When an enquiry is submitted, the event is recorded with the email address you provide as the identifier, so that we can confirm the enquiry arrived.

Providers that process data for us

The website is operated with help from these providers:

  • Vercel – hosting and delivery of the website
  • Resend – sending email from the contact form
  • PostHog – usage analytics, processed in the EU

You have the right to access the data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to the processing. Contact hei@consulted.no if you want to exercise your rights. You can also complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).

Changes
